I'm a 21 year old college student in Waco, TX. Oddly enough I have only been to Southern California once, and fell in love with the area. I hope to move to the Los Angeles area after college. I am a former hockey player, i hung up my skates after my father died. He had been a major force behind me learning the game, and he had as sharp a hockey mind as Barry Melrose and other hockey analysts. My father helped me become a great hockey mind, and I'm sad to say I would make a better coach than i ever was a player. I support all three California hockey teams, and the Dallas Stars. My main team is of course the Anaheim Ducks. My writing career is still in its infancy, but already gaining momentum. I began writing for Bleacher Report, an online sports resource. For Bleacher Report I am an NHL Community Leader, Anaheim Ducks Community Leader, and an editing intern. Away from Bleacher Report, I have begun my own blog referred to as The Puck Drop. It is mostly as an added resource to my devoted readers with all my newest articles, and stats on the Ducks. To go along with The Puck Drop, I also contribute often to Battle of California, a blog of constant chatter of all hockey doings in California. Its truly a fun page. Battle of California is how i became involved with SoCalSports and I'm looking forward to doing work for this page.
