Just look at the Phillies. Ruben Amaro, Jr. declared in no uncertain terms that Philadelphia would not aggressively pursue a trade for Roy Halladay. That night, MLBTradeRumors posted info from an insider that said the Phillies were the most aggressive team in the Halladay sweepstakes.

Faulty information from an overzealous source? Or is Amaro trying to throw other teams off the trail with a little trickeration?

All Angels fans can do is be cynical and hope Ned Colletti is wheeling and dealing as well.</description>
