I agree that being THAT close is frustrating. But that's the same reason why everyone hates Yankees fans. You're right there every year. You compete every year. Stop whining!

As for my alma mater, it is USD, but they don't have one win OF the Tourney, they have one win IN the Tourney in the last 20 years.

And also, that's great news that Ugg boots are on sale! Woohoo for comment-spam!

@ Scott: You do have a point, most schools would give anything to have four sports in the playoffs at the same time.
But I think you're wrong in that I do appreciate what UCLA has given me year by year. It's just that when you're within reach of a national championship and lose 7 years in a row, like our women's soccer team, it's frustrating - you have to agree w/ that.
And no, I am NOT spoiled.
By the way, what is your alma mater that's won one hoops title in 20 years? Just curious.

Yes, it is asking too much. You're spoiled, bud. Four teams in the playoffs in the same weekend is reason for celebration at 95% of the schools in the nation. Sure, it's fun to win it all, but you really ought to appreciate how much your alma mater's athletic department has given you, and continues to give you, as a fan year in and year out.

My alma mater has one DI National Championship in our history. One men's hoops tourney win in the last 20 years.

So trust me, UCLA is the "bride."
