But they way they've lost suggests it is more. USC continues to have higher rated recruits at basically every position than every team they play. But they are being grossly outcoached on every turn, even last week when they won. Carroll has allowed his best coaches to leave and left the cupboard empty. He has never been a great coach and is now simply being exposed because he doesn't have others around him to run the show, nor did this current batch of recruits have any transcendent talents.
