From the “You wonder why the NFL drafts so many Trojans” Department:

In a recent conditioning drill, all Trojan players had to run 24 (that’s right, two dozen) 40-yard dashes in less than 15 minutes.

Here’s how the drill breaks down.

The skill position players have to run all 24 in less than 5.5 seconds. The quarterbacks, tight ends, and linebackers have to run all of them in under six seconds. The linemen have to finish each one in less than 6.5 seconds.

And get this—they get only 20 seconds of rest tops between each sprint. That works out to less than 10 minutes (9.87) for the skill players.
