Landon Donovan Set for Galaxy Return
Well, at least one of the Galaxy’s stars is returning to Los Angeles in time for training camp. Here’s a hint: it’s not David Beckham.
On Thursday, the Galaxy announced today that last season’s Major League Soccer leading goal scorer, Landon Donovan, will be returning to the Galaxy, as expected, after his winter loan to the German club Bayern Munich.
Donovan will begin training with the Galaxy on Tuesday.
While Donovan will be arriving next week, it appears as if Beckham won’t be returning to the Galaxy until mid-July. That is because LA and AC Milan are in the midst of negotiations that would finalize a deal for Beckham can finish out his season with AC Milan.
