What To Watch Tonight (7/10/08)
Atlanta Braves (43-48) @ Los Angeles Dodgers (44-46) 7:10 PM
Tim Hudson takes on Derek Lowe in the tiebreaker game of this series. The first game saw Hiroki Kuroda pitch nine one-hit shutout innings, but in the second game the Braves stormed back to score nine runs, five on starter Chad Billingsley. Andruw Jones will try to do better against his former team, as he is only 4-for-14 this season against the Braves. Watch out for Brian McCann. After homering last night, he’s now homered in three-straight seasons at Dodger Stadium. If the Dodgers win and the D’Backs lose, the Dodgers will move into a tie for first place in the worst division in baseball.
Prediction: Dodgers
Los Angeles Angels (54-36) @ Texas Rangers (47-44) 5:05 PM
After splitting the first two games of this four-game series, Jered Weaver and the Angels try to take the series lead against the MLB’s highest scoring team. After Rangers pitcher Matt Harrison made his first ever major league start last night, the Rangers hand the ball to Mike Ballard tonight in his first ever start as well. Ballard will become the twelfth different starter this season for the Rangers, the most of any team. Maybe that lack of consistency explains why the MLB’s highest scoring team is just barely over .500. Beware of Josh Hamilton, the most dangerous hitter in baseball…
Prediction: Angels

Comment by Matt on 10 July 2008:
